1. Biographie

Vincent Van Assche received the Engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lille, France, and the M.S. degree from the University of Lille, France, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Nantes and the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France, in automatic control, in 2002.
From 2003 to 2004, he held a Postdoctoral position in the Department of Computer Science, at the K.U. Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, and, from 2004 to 2009, was Associate Professor at the LTI, University of Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens, France.  In 2009, he became Associate Professor at the University of Normandie, Caen, France, as a member of the GREYC lab. until 2016. He is now a member of the Laboratoire d’Automatique de Caen (Automatic Control Laboratory of Caen), France, since the creation of the laboratory in January 2017. His research interests include control and observation of time delay systems, network controlled systems, and switched systems.
